Dr. Jennifer Gibson

For Dr. Gibson, caring for animals is a lifelong passion. After earning her DVM from the University of Georgia, this Southern native moved to Tampa, where she practiced equine medicine for several years before finding her true calling in small animal care.

Now the Medical Director at Garrison Animal Hospital, Dr. Gibson brings 27 years of experience and a unique, holistic perspective to our team. She is a firm believer in preventive wellness and naturopathy, treating both acute and chronic issues with a focus on long-term health rather than simply masking symptoms with medications. Clients love Dr. Gibson for her warm communication style and her willingness to slow down, listen, and help them make the best decisions for their pets using a natural approach. When she isn’t treating patients, she is busy finding new ways to innovate and improve the care experience for the entire GAH family.
